Caramel Popcorn!

I love caramel popcorn. I am sure it is a fad, but I love it and crave it. I also have some words to the wise when making caramel...DO NOT HAVE THE STOVE TOO HOT!!! If you do, the caramel will burn and turn to rock. Here is the recipe I like from all recipes.com. It only takes 4 minutes to make and you don't even need a candy thermometer.
1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Mix first 4 ingredients in saucepan and boil 4 minutes over medium heat, remove from heat and add vanilla and baking soda, then pour over popcorn and enjoy. I usually half the recipe and so does Amber, it makes a lot of caramel. Remember don't burn it, medium heat!!!
